Trying to understand the SETSmm order book

Hi

I'm trying to get my head round using an online broker for share dealing who doesn't have Direct market access (DMA), say AJ Bell in the UK. For shares traded on the SETSmm order book which allows both market makers and other investors to participate, when I obtain a quote via AJ Bell which is routed via RSP will they only have access to the market maker prices only? Only asking because I know other participants (non market makers) may have a better price on the order book, thanks.

now you have all learnt the p/f methodology...we must move further on and put up some trades.
These are going to be charts with POSSIBLE trade setups
we are breakout traders...nothing more
so..we are trading only the breakout..but we can get caught in traps,but..we will try like hell to avoid them

Hello everyone,

Hope all is well in your trading when you read this thread, I wanted to know what people look for when in search for a broker to trade with. If possible can you list your key requirements from 1-5 in the list bellow and maybe even a broker you use:

I have been paper trading the FTSE Futures for over a year now, with occasional trades live. I would like to find other FTSE Futures Traders and compare notes.

I am consistently profitable on the Sim, averaging £400 per day allowing for commissions, but to achieve this I am doing 30+ trades per day. I trade one contract only, but add more if a trend continues. My average winner is £35 and my average loser is £20. My win/loss ratio is roughly 60% winners, 40% losers.
